Networking Day, 23rd November 2007, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow.
A warm and heart felt thank you to all who attended the Networking Day. There certainly was a tremendous contribution from all trainers! In particular to discussions on [health] inequalities, evaluation, preparing learners for assessment, strategic planning and more. It was certainly noted that many wanted more time to cover these issues which is very encouraging. Thank you, also, to our facilitators from the Course Development Group for their valuable input. Enthusiasm for the taster Creating Imaginative Learning session was great and interest in the wider Trainer Development Network was also duly noted.
Some comments from the day:
Glad I came as I’m inspired to pursue DEP training further.
Good day! Thanks.
Although I have not attended the IH:DEP course I found information on learning and inequalities very valuable for my role.
More chance to discuss different topics rather than focus on one per group
Re-read the course content to remind myself of the course!
More workshops, less breaks, great meeting everyone.
Deal more with live issues. How people use the materials and what can be improved.
