What is your experience with events ?
We are trying to use events extensively in both forms and letters (v.1404), but seem to be having an awful lot of bother. Examples :
Adding event to a previous OK letter. Suddenly the letter starts showing duplicate records in tables. Removing the events cured the problem for two tables, not the rest (awaiting resolution from Axsys).
Events that work in desktop, not when compiled for the web.
Compilation throws errors when we cannot find them. Axsys say the errors are illusory, related to 1403 bug, ignore. Well - all the events seem to have been wiped off that form. *** Edit - not all events wiped, some remain.
Has anyone else had difficulties ?
Any suggestions ?
